Background
A leading company in the logistics and supply chain sector, specialized in fulfillment services, operated with a mobile application to manage the reception, storage, and dispatch operations in its warehouses.

Challenge
The existing application was not user-friendly, causing delays in operations. Additionally, the aisle routing logic for the picking process was not optimal, which affected the efficiency of picking.

Solution
The mobile application was redesigned using best practices in User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) design. The number of screens and taps required to access specific functions was reduced. The picking route logic was optimized, shifting from an order-based picking system to a mixed system that allows picking by batch and by order, depending on order characteristics. Additionally, the cycle counting functionality was implemented directly within the mobile application.
